Kerrang recently reviewed Season's End's appearance at Bloodstock 2004: "However it's Season's End (KKKK) who steal the show with a set of moving, atmospheric doom culled from their awesome 'The Failing Light' album". This compliments the KKKK album review received last year as well as the glowing Metal Hammer and various webzine reviews. Zero Tolerance, the new A5 metal magazine also reviewed the Bloodstock performance - "The pick of the pack are goth metallers Season's End, whose show is mightily impressive. As a unit they shine brightly - their power, poise and passion for what they're doing surely marks them out for bigger things".
Season's End were also mentioned in Kerrang as one of 5 bands in an article on symphonic metal bands: 'If you thought you had to trek all the way to Scandinavia to find decent symphonic metal, you're wrong. Heavy on grandiose atmosphere, Hampshire's Season's End easily match their foreign counterparts.'
Thanks to everyone that voted for Season's End in the Terrorizer Reader's Poll for 2004. We came eighth in the "Best Unsigned Band" category which was a complete surprise.
Thanks for reading - hope to see some of you at our shows in the Spring,
Dave / Season's End
