yeah they should definately not call it day, theyre still going strong and personally I can't wait for the next album, roll on 2005/6!

I've played St.Anger shitloads in the vain hope that it would get better to no avail....IT'S SHIT...no solos from Kirk Hammett, what a fuckin' joke....nu-metal overtones....they even play live older stuff downtuned that should have standard tuning and it sounds shit because its meant to be fast and crunchy but the strings are too fuckin slack. Lars Ulrich has also lost most of his abilities as a drummer. Compare him now to when they recorded And Justice......what the fuck happened to him?? |

I didn't say they'd deteriorated because of downtuning; I merely stated they now downtune lower than they used to since recording St.Anger. You're probably right about Lars being at fault....I put most of the blame on Bob Rock though - gradual deterioration since he started producing (Black album was the start) and he helped write St.Anger - he also obviously convinced them to drop the solos. |

This will be my last post in this thread because its annoying me, anyway, If you knew anything about Metallica you'd know no one would change/give/make ideas for them i.e Bob Rock didn't do anything to them, Metallica changed because they wanted to. |
