The title says it all really, what do you want from the next album? How do you think the Mithras sound will evolve for the next album?

I'd like to hear another couple of instrumentals - I love 'The Sands of Time'. Some really long guitar solos would be cool as well as some of these single take solos (like Psyrens) that Leon is promising. I'm also looking forward to this long drum solo that Leon mentioned.
I'm not sure how the Mithras sound will evolve. It definitely evolved a lot between Forever...... and WBTV. I think Forever...... basically got the 'fast as fook death metal' part of Mithras out of their system. WBTV is a much more sophisticated, mature album and the story/concept is very interesting. I'm hoping for some huge apocalyptic, spacey soundscapes. I may be wrong but I don't think the 'sound' will change a huge amount because I think Mithras have found their ideal sound, but it depends on how much more they're wanting to experiment. I think the character/style of the sound will be determined by the direction that the story/concept takes (the subject matter).
I'm hoping the third album totally destroys WBTV. I certainly believe Mithras are capable of doing better. Maybe they can push the envelope a bit more on a few tracks, break the speed record again, who knows?

what do i want from a new mithras album? well, i expect it to be extreme metal, of course. other than that i really just want them to continue on the path of expression that they have already forged. the only thing that could really top off worlds... is more guitar harmonizations. still, though, i play that album for people (guitar freaks like me) and they think its a masterpiece. the articulations, the contrasts in playing. just more awesome guitarwork, please.

Two words: monumental soundscapes

Epic Death Metal... soundscapes - same as before, but bigger and more atmosphere..? Maybe less triggering for a more natural drum sound?
You could always try to do what Emperor were doing on their last 2 albums, only in a Mithras way...
