MITHRAS PLAYING DAMNATION FESTIVAL/EDINBURGH UNHOLY ASSAULT

Mithras are pleased to announce they are now confirmed to play Damnation festival / Edinburgh Unholy Assault on the 24th/25th of October. This will be our first appearance at the well known fest, and our first ever Scottish show, so we're looking forward to both!

Damnation Festival - October 24th

Damnation Festival will take place at Leeds University Union, on Saturday,
October 24, 2009.

The complete line-up is: Life of Agony, Lock Up, Therapy?, Destruction, Anathema, Electric Wizard, Jesu, Rotting Christ, This Will Destroy You, Akercocke, A Storm of Light, Mistress, Negura Bunget, Minsk, Extreme Noise Terror, Manatees, The Gates of Slumber, And So I Watch You From Afar, Charger, Mithras, Firebird, Stand-Up Guy and Rinoa.

Mithras headlining day 2, with support from Scythian, Burial,and Haar.

Glad to see mithras getting loads of gigs

Chances of being able to attend the Scottish fest are becoming slimmer by the second unfortunately

Hopefully some footage of both will be on youtube tho

Well the Damnation line-up is just awful where my tastes are concerned. I wasn't going to bother even driving there, but maybe now I may have to try and get in after all!

Just a shame you're the opening band and so there won't be a load of people or time to have got the "juices flowing".

We're not the opening band, we're on 3rd on the Terrorizer stage, Nazxul are opening, and we're supposed to be on after Charger making us 3rd on that stage. So plenty of time to get everyone's juices flowing!

Bear in mind they update the bill every other day as bands are added.
