I think Luciferion is a bit of a stretch here, you might as well include Aurora Borealis if you're going to take that road

Decrepit Birth are definitely more Technical Death Metal but Diminishing Between Worlds has its Mithras-esque moments. Whenever I hear the first few notes of Reflections of Emotion i'm expecting To Fall From the Heavens to come on.

I just don't think Luciferion is really very spacey. I only have the apostate but I think it is less spacey than Decrepit Birth even.

I mean, they are a good band, but I just don't see any comparison to Mithras

My mate summed up Sunn O))) as a very empowering band that made him feel as though he was standing on a mountain and giving the finger to the universe while it is uncreated.

Well I have seen Decrepit Birth 3 times, I have partied with them, Smoked Played guitars in druken wankery together,yada,yada and I think they sound nothing like Mithras. They are really in a league of their own like mithras. live performances are nothing short of phenomenal. other than writing really good organic and original music like mithras, I just don't see the comparison
