Hey man when i play live i don`t just play bass and sing the parts, I put on a show, that's what people came to see and thats what i want to be known for. Plus, have u ever played a bass, it's alot more physically tiring than guitar, granted the guys you mention are amazing, and i`m not saying that guitarists are weak lazy pussizes, but i put alot of effort and energy in to mithras, especially when playing live. Granted the bass parts are not as "technical" as the guitar parts but it adds a solid back bone that mithras needs so that it doesn`t sound like a random dirge of guitars, the fact that you have never noticed the bass shows how well its supporting roll is seen as it is prity loud relatively! Thanks for the confidence boost!

yeah it is very very tiring....especially if you play with fingers...which i think you do? i really havent figured out how to use a pick yet i think they are the most idiotic objects ever...but i suppose sometimes you will have to use them...(guitar) but the bass is the back bone...and i cant neccessarily hear the part that your playing and pick out a riff that i could tab but i can hear the lower denomenation given off by the bass that backs up the guitar and does add the back bone...and im sure you put on a great show but i cant imagine you jumping around like james labrie or something but i bet the intensity of the vocals + music make it a fantastic show

I tabbed out all of the rhythym for Wrath of God just then, overall it is pretty spot on but im sure there are some errors. Im planning to tab the leads as good as i can asap, then i might try and do drums and bass as well. Im using the program guitar pro 4.

I have also done parts of Sloping Altars, Lords and Masters & The Sands of Time, all pretty incomplete, but hopefully when i get some time i will be able to finish them.

If anyone wants them i can send it to them via msn.

Hate to perform vicious necromancy and ressurect this thread an all, but does anyone still happen to have any of the tabs that were on this thread? Please do re-post them if you can.

Later this year sometime eh? I finally got 12s on my guitar+my neck adjusted for tuning to A# standard. I'm eagerly anticipating some Mithras tabs.

I'm going to tab a few songs soon, the next month or so. If I haven't, feel free to post here and remind me. Any particular requests?

Yes, actually. Not sure how many songs you plan on tabbing, but The Sands of Time, Psyrens, Trample Their Works, and Wrath of God would all be awesome. I've tabbed a few parts of songs of WBTV, but I can't make any progress on anything on Legions, mix is very drum heavy and on alot of the songs it's tough to hear the guitar sound, particularly on Vae Solis.

Thanks a ton Leon.

I'll tab 'Worlds...', 'Psyrens', 'Wrath Of God' and one other, let's see which one is most popular.

The reason it's hard to pick up the guitars on 'Legions...' is mainly the stupid tempos and the 16th notes. Try panning to one side and listening to it, should help a bit to isolate the particular notes and chords.
