Has anyone used this program? If so, is it decent?

It's a drum loop program made by Tomas Haake (Meshuggah). I'm d/l it at the moment because I can't find a drummer to play the stuff I write and I wouldn't mind getting some stuff recorded.

It's not a program, just samples.

Oh right.........shit.

Does this mean you can put them into something like fruity loops and just have a better drum sound? I'm not really educated in home recording.

Old thread, but I've only just read this. The earlier versions of DKfH are just Haake's kit multisampled. You'll need a program such as Battery http://www.native-instruments.com/index.php?id=battery_us&ftu=6105b7bbe2 to load the sound samples into. This seems to work very well. If it's your own material you want to record you'll also need a piece of recording software like Cubase or Sonar - Battery will then work (as a VST plugin) within that. The drums on Catch 33 were programmed in using DKfH and they sound pretty damn good to me  Err....hope that's helped?
