Just got back from Scotland. what a fantastic looking country. Anyone ever been?

Anyway, I ended up climbing Ben Nevis, but just as we were about 2/3rds the way up (a LOOOOOONG way), a blizzard past over the mountain! We carried on regardless, but about 400 metres from the top, I couldn't see the mountain for the sky as it the myst blurred with the snow. My hair actually frooze! In the end we had to follow fading footprints to get to the top, and we finally did it. Fucking brilliant!

Woah that pretty looks pretty grim, hehe.

I've been to scotland a couple of times now, once to Inverness and another to Edinburgh. On the train to Inverness we saw loads of really hilly and epic scenery. It was pretty cool.

I'm off to Scotland in the summer for two weeks :D

Hey cool, me to. Me and a few friends are going to the Orkney islands to visit Skara Brae (the oldest example of anglo civilization). Should be inspiring...and cold!

Anyway, toozey, you mentioned the epic scenery. I think the railway to Inverness goes through Glen Coe, and that place is EPIC! Did you go through a valley with giant hills on both sides and loads of forests?
