Hmmm I think I'll take you up on that recommendation - I've heard good things about it elsewhere :)

Its a really good film, I got it on DVD. I initially thought it would be jsut violence with a cool plot which it is but it also has some good twists and character development.

Its an all round great film, cant find many faults really but I've heard bad things about the sequel.

yeah but the ending of pretty much every great film is shit, cuz i think iof youre writing something the ending is the hardest part to write and its at this point that you just want things over and done with. I do agree that an unsatisfactory ending can really ruin a whole movie experience!

Mmm, good movie. Plot that made no sense kind of lets it down though o-O (why would forcing a random class of children to kill each other help truency levels?)

just saw the 2nd one.

not too impressed really. the 1st one was pretty damn good. original (at least compaired to UK/US movies). but this one was just a bit overblown. and they TOTALLY ripped off saving private ryan (i mean like scene-for-scene in places). 2 is OTT. 1 is interesting.

the thing i didnt like about the first one was that the kids obviously didnt know that the BR act entailed a clas being chosen at random to fight each other, and if the kids dont know about it how could it be a useful deterrent to control truency levels.... unless im totally wrong, in that case then meh!
