every single shot in that film is epic. I think I saw my house in one scene

it was an excellent movie...the fight scenes were so good and the lighting and coloring were perfect....plus it was written by quentin tarantino....probably the greatest movie writer/directors....but hes also my favorite along with francis ford coppola....but it was an awesome movie....

have you seen the Last Samurai that one with tom cruise in it....i watched that yesterday...its pretty good the fight scenes arent anything like hero.....its more like a modern day war movie but in japan....

i dunno how big you english are on war movies...since most of them are america related....

I actually didn't like Hero at all. It just felt like jazzed up with CGI and Wirework.

I think I'm just not a fan of the whole "Wire-Fu" style of action, so every fight scene left me utterly cold, whereas the derivative storyline left me even more cold.

The visuals were fairly pretty, but Kurosawa has everyone beat in the beautiful shots department. Simply take a look at , which he storyboarded in full with canvas paintings! Absolutely breath-taking film altogether, every shot is utterly staggering, and he achieved it all without CGI.
