I saw Nile late last year at The Camden Palace London - they were the best live band there, outplaying Deicide and Destruction among others. They seem to get tighter every time I see them. |

am i right in saying mithras hate nile? in their last interview in terrorizer (the big 4 page job) leon stated that they played "hollywood egyptian metal". LOL. I agree with that to a degree. but i still like Nile

I don't think Leon hates Nile. In the same interview he says "Don't get me wrong. Nile are an excellent band". He was just stating that Nile don't have an egyptian sound and use the same scales repeatedly etc. He was basically saying their sound is not Middle Eastern but more 'Hollywood' metal. |
