Anyone looking forward to this? The first two were amazing films, and this one looks pretty good from the trailers. So far, early reviews are poor and it's rated 12A, so maybe it's a dud.

No Arnie so low reviews don't surprise me. I think it will be okay but I'm not expecting it to be incredible. Plus without Arnold it loses huge points. I like Christian Bale but I'm not so sure he's fitting for this movie. I'll have to wait and see though.

It's got to be worth seeing just based on the Christian Bale rant while filming

Interesting. I still think it's worth a watch but my hopes aren't high for it. I feel it's the best to feel, If it sucks I wont be disappointed, if it's good I'll be blown away.

I really want to see the footage of that haha!

I was a little disheartened when I saw it being rated 12A....

Going to see it when it's out tho!

The first Terminator film is a classic. I'll be checking Salvation out when it's released.
I never take any notice of reviews anyway and the fact it has Bale in it has sparked my own interest.
12A does raise a question mark but it could still be great.

I quite like how on the posters it says "12A- Contains moderate violence and one scene of strong language" :D

Love Terminator 1 and 2. Dunno if I'm gonna rush to see Salvation. It should be average at least, and I'm not too miffed that Arnie isn't in it. Still with it being the first terminator film set fully in the future (as far as i know) it should be worth a watch.

I've noticed no one wants to talk about the 3rd Terminator film.

T3 in my opinion wasn't terrible, but it wasn't really that great. The action scenes were pretty awesome, but the story was just a rehashed repeat of the first two films, I think my T3 everybody was ready for the future, but we didn't get it. All in all I think it was a pretty okay movie, but can anybody really expect anything to beat T2?

T2 I think was just a perfect movie, the story was great and the action was great. My only complaints are how it dates itself (as did the first one with everybody's cool 80's hair), when you see it you know it's an early Nineties movie, and that kid was annoying as shit, his 90's "Badass" image was just completely lame and his prepubescent shrieking really got on my nerves sometimes.

Been a while since i watched it but I wouldn't hate T3 religiously. I think the director approached the film interestingly enough, with nods towards the older films (btw would be quite funny in Terminator Salvation if that Psychiatrist returns once more.) Somehow it just lacked a punch that would make it stand out amongst the other two.

I also remember in the UK how about 6 months after the cinema release, when T3 was coming out on dvd, it was also being aired Channel 5 on terrestrial TV, which at the time was something of an insult. :E

I found the T3 John Connor more of a whiney runt than the T2. :P

But yeah, great film Terminator 2 is. Never again will we see a shotgun be reloaded so awesomely.

I think it's a shame Edward Furlong isn't back playing John Conner (as im somewhat a fan of Detroit rock city, T2 & american history X).

Then again he's somewhat a weedy little druggy from what i know these days, so hopefully Bale can do a good job, he doesn't have the douchbag accent of Furlong tho!

And he steals lobsters apparently.

Still 31 years old? I can't get my head round that. Though the only other film I've seen with him in it is American History X.

Check out Detroit rock city, it's about a load of kiss fans trying to get to a kiss show it's bloody funny! He's also plays 'the crow' in the latest crow movie, pretty shit tho.

P.s the new terminator is bloody good, ending is a little meh but I guess it's kick starting the new trilogy
