Yep well said. But you gotta realise that passive smoking is pretty nonexistant. We breath huge amounts of fumes and toxins every day just walking in the street, eating crap food etc etc.

True, but surely it's sensible to cut out as much of it as possible - food you always have a choice in, so that's easy. I'd love to see less people using their cars, hopefully it'll happen soon. But just saying "Well you breathe in this that and the other, so why bother moaning about smoking" is a bit silly.

What we should have is licensed "smokatoriums" like in Judge Dredd. You wanna smoke? you go there :)

Good ol' Terrorizer for me, mostly because it's one of the few metal magazines freely available these days that actually covers, well, metal. Although I don't always agree with them, they generally do good reviews as well, and some fun interviews. It's just a good read, and I'm indebted to their covermount CDs for discovering a couple of bands.

I used to love Terrorizer in the past, but now I'm beginning to dislike them:

a) Their use of flowery language would baffle even Oxford graduates. Come on, you're dealing with METALHEADS here there's no need for all the heavy analogies and all that. Get to the fucking POINT.

b) I am no lover of NS bands but the fact that they decided not to cover France's Krystallnacht (who are in fact a brilliant band) because of their political ideas is ridiculous. They claim to cover 'extreme' metal yet here's something TOO extreme for them. Did people refuse to review Burzum and Darkthrone because of their ideas?

c) IMO there's a little too much emphasis on Death Metal and Metalcore bands these days, though i found their THRASH SPECIALS really cool.
