Hi everyone,

for anyone who doesn't know, i recently started my own record label, Galactic records.

http://www.galacticrecords.co.uk
http://galactic.bigcartel.com/
http://www.myspace.com/galacticrecords

We're distributed through PHD and our first two releases are:

Sarpanitum - 'Despoilment Of Origin'

Image

Sepia Dreamer - 'The Sublime'

Image

I remixed and mastered the Sarpanitum album, and session drummed on the Sepia Dreamer album as a favour to the guys, so it made sense for both of them to be our first releases.

Check them out, spread the word and let us know what you think!

...Eh?

Sarpanitum, Endless Torment, and Kastrated played Burnley.

Sarp and Endless were selling their CD's and shirts.
Andy from Sarp was minding it all, next to the stage.
Was talking to him during Kastrated, and asked who would be guarding it while he was on.
He said no one, so he'd have to pack it all up.
I offered to mind it all.

Andy: We have our CD out which you can pick up from Mark over there.
Tom: UUUNIKROONNNNNN!

To anyone wanting these releases - order them direct from the Galactic Records website. They are far more efficient than PHD and got my CD to me within 2 working days.

For some strange reason PHD have no record of my Sarpanitum order and haven't charged my credit card so I will be ordering that direct from Galactic too.

Hey Leon, does this mean that you're part of the evil Galactic empire??
Are you the emperor himself??

My friends in Satanic Angel played in Burnley some time last year at some gathering of death metal bands or something..
if I remmeber right it might have been the day before the Emperor show in London.. therefore I didn't go - else I would have been there with them

and yeh!

I'm rather impressed with both these first releases..
Sarpanitum more so.. that is more my kind of music, but I found the Sepia Dreamer album rather good as well.. with some more listens it will grow on me more
I will post links to the reviews in here once I have them written :D

The most recent news is that we recently signed Scythian to the label - they're the band of Alex de Moller - http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=189859494
