Metallica have done some great stuff. They've done a fair amount of crap too. (For the record, I liked Load / Reload, and have yet to hear St. Anger except for the title track).

But their money grabbing greed was the nail in the coffin. When it became obvious that they cared about having the most amount of money, or grabbing more money when they didn't even need it... That was what made me hate them.

Although there's a fair amount of their stuff I can still listen to, I can't shake the "money grabbing wanker" vision from the back of my head, so they rarely get played anymore.

Enter Sandman though can fuck right off.

they should have finished after Re-load. St Anger is piss poor, and anyway, to shit themselves the way they did over Napster's actions demonstrates what a bunch of GREEDY BASTARDS they are!

and dont forget NLTL, Killemall and Justice... the 1st 5 albums are masterpieces

I have to turn the bass down on Justice when im listening on headphones in case i melt my eardrums. Very strange that the bass is so shoddy on that album, since it was Newstead's 1st album with tallica... on bass... odd. you would think they'd wanna show off his bass skills on his debut.
