Suffocation Vs Dying Fetus

Suffocation. Hands down.

I love the latest Dying Fetus album, but Souls to Deny just continues to grow and grow and grow... I really can't see what makes the production on that album particularly bad. Every instrument is distinct and clear, the signature Suffo-blasts still sound like a sort of mundane equivalent to the Devil's metronome, and it's easier than ever to compare Frank Mullen to a 20-feet white shark. Can't see the problem, no. :twisted:

The only problem with the production on "Souls To Deny" is that the vocals sound a bit detached from the mix.

I'd say Suffocation. Stop At Nothing is an easier album to listen to, just put it on and time flys by, but Suffocation is more of a "sit down and absorb" album.

Suffocation. Always has been, and always will be, Suffocation. Souls to Deny fucking rips! Then look at their back catalogue - Dying Fetus just don't hold a candle to them, as far as I'm concerned.
