Over the last couple weeks I've picked up quite a wide array of cool cds so I thought I'd recommend some quality metal to everyone:

1. Occult - Elegy for the Weak. There have been a lot of shitty halfwit thrash clones out recently, but this is truly the most excellent modern thrash band that there is. The guy sounds like fuckin Angelripper and the music is downright evil thrashing with modern touches. Oh yeah, theyre from the Netherlands.

2. Cadaver - Necrosis. Very simple yet extremely technical and fast death metal from Norway with a definite celtic frost feel. The fookin singer even looks like Tom Warrior.

3. Summoning - Dul Guldur. Ok so I'm a fucking hippie because I like Summoning -

Concept: Unoriginal (Tolkien)
Music: David Bowie did it long before you.

But it still kicks ass.

Get out your shitty casio keyboards and play along! Ambient fantasy shit with black metal vocals and hobbits. Nice One.

4. Enthroned - The Blackend Collection. Four Enthroned Albums. Nuff Said.

5. Mithras - Forever Advancing Legions. I'm not being funny here and I've heard my fair share of Suffocation but THISTH IS DUH MOTHST BRROOTHAL ALBUM I AS EVER EARD.

yeh ive heard rudra too - got both their albums - pretty unique sound they got too which makes a change. not too keen on the old vocals tho.... sounds like a horse being quatered.
