The rehearsal track sounds pretty cool. I don't think anyone should worry about the music slowing down with Leon, he's faster than fruity loops!

Here's the official word: UK extreme band The Senseless (Sam Bean - The Berzerker) has been joined by drummer Leon Macey (Mithras), to record on their sophomore CD 'The Floating World'. "It was sad to let Fruity Loops go", said Sam, "but Leon can both outdrink and outgrind Fruity. I swore I'd never use a human drummer on the Senseless, but Leon is not human. He's a blasting drumming freak. We've been rehearsing the new album in secret for almost a year, and now that recording the album is looming on the horizon, it's time to start letting some of the surprises out of the bag. Leon joining is only the first of those surprises" So....I remember saying a year or two ago that I'd NEVER use a human drummer. And here I am, announcing that a real live dude is kicking fruity off the drum stool and taking over the blasting. First off, this band is called the Senseless after all, so anyone looking for continuity of word and deed from me....us!...is going to get shock after shock after shock. I'm looking at my old 'manifesto' and counting the number of self-imposed rules I'm going to break. Secondly, if you have ANY doubts about this Leon's ability to pull off the sometimes ridiculous percussional responsibilities entailed in performing for my band....I can call it a band now, can't I?....just listen to the You Love It rehearsal. Oh yeahhhh. And trust me when I say that the new album hasn't slowed down. Stay tuned, we have lots more to roll out in the coming months. |

haha, damn I'd never heard of this guy before. I really like the music and the concept is pretty funny too without being complete self-satyr, you picked a good project to contribute to  .
