i don't use Iron cobra pedals atm, but i did use them on our first 2 albums.

I played around with my pedal settings a lot, but the settings i used generally speaking were: beater about 12cm from the head, springs pretty loose (i'd say about 1/3 tightened). I used a wooden beater with them and didn't have the beater counterweight on when recording.

Bear in mind this is simply what worked for me and may not work for you. There isn't a special setting for playing fast Some people have their springs tighter, i didn't find any benefit with this until switching to Axis pedals, where i have the springs as tight as possible.
