I noticed somewhere in an interview that some of your favorite albums were from Morbid Angel.
It's funny cause, when I first heard you guys I was impressed first, and then I was like..."Who do they remind me of?"

A Cosmic Morbid Angel! That's what it is. The lively and powerful riffs, the virtuoso leads, straightforward and efficient blasting. I could be off the mark. But I mean the comparison as a compliment. MA in my and many other people's opinion paved the way for all this shit.

The other thing I liked about the comparison is that MA started a new tradition of DM by being different, and I think you guys will too.

yeah Morbid Angel are one of my fave bands and were definitely a musical influence on us (particularly when we started out), as they were to thousands and thousands of bands. Pete's definitely one of my favourite drummers, and probably my biggest drumming influence.

We've obviously got similarities to Morbid Angel in many ways, but it's debatable whether we've got a bigger 'influence' from Morbid Angel than other bands in our field / genre such as Hate Eternal / Nile etc.
