I had originally heard some of WBtV in early 06, I thought something about it was cool but I didn't really understand it at the time so it didn't strike me, then mid last year I was looking through Last.fm and found them and when I realised they had a new album I thought I should check it out and it blew me away first listen.
Not long after that I found the album in a local store which was very surprising because I thought I would never see a Mithras cd in an Australian store. So I bought it and have listened to it probably 30+ times now.
After I got into Behind the Shadows it gave me a big understanding as to what the band and the music is about and I then quickly learned to appreciate the other albums. Behind the Shadows is definitely my favourite though and it is so much better than most releases of the bigger death metal bands.

Well I finally obtained an actual copy of the album .

My apologies Leon, I previously only had a downloaded copy (With all intentions of owning it one day!!!!!!)

But the time has come. And I must say that listening to the CD version greatly enhances my love for the music. Mp3's and computer speakers don't do this album justice. Listening to it in the car and on a quality stereo is just breathtaking and gives me chills everytime. This album really is a piece of art and a masterpiece amongst Mithras. No review can be given justice without a proper quality listen of this.
