The major difference is Track 2 comes in with more punch after Track 1, I think a few other tracks are like this too.

i think the sound works realy. i know where you're comin from. but it adds to the overall sound. it wouldnt realy work if it was perfectly produced, it wouldnt realy have any character.

yeah it is perfectly produced. but you get what i mean, that cristal clear, characterless production you here from this irritating wave of american metal like killswitch, chaimera and all that. that boring really really clear sound. im rambling on. i know what i mean anyway

ive also noticed the lack of power.....and i have many times tried to explain but been anal raped by all members of the site......i just think legions is more powerful and in your face like rayner is beating the shit out of you and worlds is like just laying in the grass watching rayner fly past really far away....they are two completely different elements but i think worlds would have been ten times better had it been louder and more textured.....

Textured? Worlds has a texture unlike anything I've ever heard.

The production debate has followed Mithras almost as much as the Drummig Speed. While we all like what we like, I think it's important to be creative in production as much as anything else.

Would you prefer "Transylvanian Hunger" do be like "Clayman" ?

You bring some great points (though you don't seem to realise it :D ). "FA...L" is an "in your face" album! The production (whether intentional or not, I don't know) reflects this. "Trample their works", "Sloping Altars", "Vae Solis"...etc all punish brutally.

But "Worlds..." is a different kettle of fish. The songs are not so to the point. They take you elsewhere, and the production reflects (and adds to) this. "They came and you were silent" for example, just wouldn't be as effective with "FA...L"'s production.

Let me end by saying this...

The snare sound on Trample their Works is so perfect, it's not even funny.

you cant compare transylvanian hunger to Clayman...assuming thats in flames......i dont like in flames and i dont like the production of transylvanian hunger tho the music is amazing....the drumming is horrible and way to quiet...the most perfect sounding albums are mayhem - dmds and Mithras - FA..L, hellhammer's drumming is just amazing and it fits with euronymous' riffs....i love his vocals on that to...and varg aside from being a nutcase his bass playing was the best black metal bass playing i have ever heard......then the brutality and amazing drumming and catchy solos and guitar riffs for mithras making legions a perfect album....

transylvanian hunger needs the drum lines rewritten and re record the entire album.....the horrible recording and production doesnt make it more "grim" the whole "grim" image is stupid anyway...its the music that matters not the image...
