No, but seriously, play Bloodstock, you'll make my summer. And probably your summers too. Everyone wins. Do it. Go on.

Mithras are pleased to announce they'll be rejoined by live drummer Sean 'Brutal' Broster (also of UK brutal death metallers Sarpanitum) at their next live show: the 13th SWR festival in Barosellas, Portugal, 1st May.

This marks a return for Sean who was live drummer for Mithras between the years 2004 to 2006. SWR will also be the first live show for new guitarist Tom Hyde (also ex-Sarpanitum) and the band are looking forward to bringing some brutal atmospherics to the Portugese metal hordes!

Check out http://www.swr-inc.net/swr/ for more details.

Play Bloodstock.
Like, just show up at Bloodstock and demand you're playing.
If they give you any guff, Rayner can chokeslam them off of a forty foot steel cage. And through a stack of burning tables.

Sabbath + Mithras would shatter reality.

We're still recovering from this show and the craziness which came with it....  8)

It was an utter bastard logistically to be ready in time to play it and avoid losing nearly a grand on the flights, so it's a relief to get it under our belts and move on.

There should be video in a few weeks, hopefully from different cameras. Sean drummed like a monster and Tom laid down the crush, amen.
