MITHRAS PLAYING EXETER MONDAY 26TH OCT!

Mithras have been asked to replace Negura Bunget on their headlining show in Exeter on Monday 26th October. Apparently their singer is really ill with laryngitis and can't make any of the shows they had booked in the UK this weekend.

We're stoked to be asked to step in for them by Southwest Metal Events, and the line-up for the evening is really cool; Aesir, Sokaris, Awake By Design then finally Mithras headlining so come and check the show out if you're in the South-West of the UK. The show starts at 20.00 and is being held at:

As you are all aware by now we were forced at the last minute to get a replacement for NEGURA BUNGET which has come in the form of the mighty death/progressive/ambinet metallers MITHRAS.

However the show has now been moved to the CAVERN CLUB due to technical reasons beyond our control. All tickets will still remain valid for this show.

We hope too see you all there to show your support to a night that can truely be remembered for the South West!

So glad that you's did! Savage song & i cant imagine a MITHRAS set being played without it in my view.

We definitely played Shadows but Terry is right, we did encore with Spheres, the audience wouldn't go until we did

I'm up for playing Thrown Upon The Waves and always have been. It's down to the other guys as to whether they are man enough for that one

Right now I guess it doesn't fit into the set properly (as it'd have to close the set) but we'll see in the future. I wouldn't fancy drumming it live myself

We've got another song to bring back from the dead into the live set, one which hasn't been done at a show before and maybe a new one

nice..look forward to the new + the old/new 1!
Waves has some madd db blasts in the intro (280-300?)

it definetely has its fair share of tricky rolls w/intricate blast patterns
nothing you guys aren't already doing on parts within other
tracks to an extent though. :wink:

you can always strap on the ol' gene hoglan ankle weights all set
take them off right before the last song like w/Syl :lol:

when the psychedelic tapping section kicks in on Waves
& opens the quantum hyperspace vortex
people will trip live
