CD going to press next week!

The CD features a shitload of liner notes from Rayner and me, then we have comments from Liam Kavanagh, Steve Crompton and Justin Joyce and a load of old pictures. Everyone who performed on the music contained on the CD made a comment in the end which is cool

The layout has turned out really nice and I'm really happy with it, it's a shame I can't do the design myself as the last 6 weeks wait has been for the inlay!

are you being sarcastic? i'd made an entire thread with all the info, but it won't show. The release is ready to go, will be added to the webshop tomorrow!

means the CD will ship out within 7 days of today barring acts of god/fire/earthquake/comet hitting earth/etc!

If it was a download only release without a booklet rammed full of notes from 5 people and full of old pictures, it would have been out 3 months ago when I finished the mixing / mastering.

Nb there will be a legal download option in a few weeks.

no don't bother really, until I'm in the office tomorrow I can't redo all the info and add it to the shop anyway! Perhaps I'll delay it an extra week just for you!

Did you decide to do this? Can't wait will buy two as soon as you have them ready to go...and Is the shirt being released with the cd? do you have some sorda package deal worked out?

I didn't, we couldn't fit all the audio on the audio CD even. This CD is almost 80 minutes long, so it was about quality rather than quantity in the end. We could have easily done 2 full CDs! There's a similar problem with the DVD!

The SOT shirts will depend on how the CD sells, if nothing else I'd like to do a very short run of full colour shirts with the CD cover on.

Instead of making people pay for the guitar and drum stuff I'm going to video me drumming some of our tracks for YouTube when I have some downtime later this year. I may also do some extra guitar stuff, but I don't know what exactly.
