UNDER THE THREE SPHERES GUITAR TAB Tabbed by Leon Macey. Track three from the album 'Behind The Shadows Lie Madness' (2007) This song is played on a 7 string Ibanez Universe on the record, but the rhythms can easily be played on a 6 string tuned to A#, if you observe the correct tuning intervals. Unlike most bands who use a 7 string like a 6 string guitar with an "extra" low string, we use it as a 6 string guitar with an "extra" top string, which means the tuning intervals are slightly different: Tuning (Low - High) A# D# G# C# F A# D# The below tab shows the rhythm parts only (the guitar on the right hand side on the album / what our live rhytyhm player would play). I play the left hand channel which are harmony parts and variations which are pretty easy to work out by ear based on this tab. The entire song is in 4/4. Notes for each riff are in brackets. I'll include notable things but I'm anticipating you'll be able to work some of the palm muting and more obvious stuff by ear. You'll need a heavy tone with a reasonable amount of midrange to get close to the tone on the record. There are varied chorus effects throughout the song on the rhythm parts which you should be able to hear. As in the last tab I've not followed tab convention particularly, as I don't use tab myself, but this should be understandable more or less.
